We have a number of different bikes available for loan. Each bike is provided with all the accessories we think you will need to give cycling a go, including a helmet, lock, pannier, pump, lights and a hi-vis tabard.
The MTB-Style Commuter: Dawes Mojave
Available in 19”, 21” and 23″ frame sizes
The Mojave is one of Dawes most popular commuting / trekking bikes, offering durability, practicality and comfort. It features a lightweight alloy frame and steel unicrown forks. The Mojave comes complete with 21 speed Shimano EZ-Fire gears and a Shimano chainwheel. The adjustable handlebar stem allows you to easily adapt your riding position whilst the Schwalbe puncture-resitant tyres allow you to keep on riding without the worry of a flat. It also comes with mudguards, kickstand and a rear carrier fitted so you can comfortably use it around town.

The Step-Thru Commuter: Dawes Mojave

The folding bike: Dawes Jack
The Dawes Jack comes in one size and is designed to fit all sizes of rider

Sparta
The Sparta is an electric pedal-assist bicycle. It can help people try cycling who might feel that their health, level of fitness or length of journey precludes them from using a conventional bike. The Sparta is a high-end electric bike that should give you a flavour of what pedal-assist can do for you.
We have two Sparta pedal-assists that can be loaned out to participants during the four-week period upon request.
